Sandrine Holt is born Sandrine Ho on the 19th of November 1972 in London. She was born in London, to an Chinese mother and a French father. When she was five, she moved to Toronto, Canada, and has considered it her home since then. Before becoming an actor, she worked in Paris for a modeling job for the catwalk. Her first film role was Annuka In Black Robe (1991). Her performance was rewarded with a Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, along with guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force & Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension followed. John Woo's The Thief saw her appear throughout the 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. The two films are accessible on DVDVHS. In 2006, she was able to be offered a more prominent part in the series 24 -- Twenty Four and Runaway. Holt began her career with smaller guest roles and series roles. She was cast in 2013 as Hostages. took on the leading role in Hostages and was also cast as a support character in Netflix's House of Cards. She played Julie Han, in the US remake The Returned (2015) and she was cast in the role of Bethany Exner.
